Dolphin Encounter

The first encounter; learn and have fun! This interactive program allows non-swimmers to learn more about dolphins while standing in waist-deep water in the seawater lagoon at our dolphin center in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico.

Your experience begins with an educational session introducing you to the dolphins where you will learn about the bottlenose dolphin's anatomy, physiology, natural history and animal training.

Then get ready to enter the water where trainers introduce you to the dolphins. For 15 minutes, groups of no more than 8 people get an incredible eye-to-eye look at the dolphins, feel their smooth skin, give training signals and even feed the dolphin.

Duration of the program is 45 minutes including orientation. Group size is limited to eight people per dolphin to ensure that you have the most personal experience, so reserve an unforgettable dolphin experience for yourself or someone you love TODAY!

Programs run daily at our Dolphin Center in Nuevo Vallarta.

Length of Tour: Approximately 45 minutes

Dolphin Encounter participants must be at least 4.5 ft tall. In the Family Encounter, parents may hold children aged 1 to 3 free of charge. Each child under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
